Cynthia Golomb, MD, is a dermatologist who is triple board certified in Dermatology, Dermatopathology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs).

Dr. Golomb provides her patients with a full range of cosmetic and general dermatology services, including skin tightening, laser skin resurfacing, facial injectables, ear lobe repair, and microneedling, as well as skin cancer screening and treatment with Mohs surgery.

Located in Hallandale Beach, Dermatologist Dr. Golomb welcomes patients from Aventura, Hollywood, Sunny Isles Beach, North Miami Beach, Pembroke Pines and beyond.

Dr. Golomb’s Education & Professional Experience

Dr. Cynthia Golomb attended medical school at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.  She earned a certificate of internship at the University of Colorado and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami – Jackson Memorial Hospital.

After receiving her board certification in dermatology, she completed a dermatopathology fellowship at Roger Williams Hospital/Boston University. Dr. Golomb served on the faculty as an assistant professor at Boston University School of Medicine.  She also played a key role in developing the residency program for the department of dermatology and skin surgery at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence Rhode Island.

Dr. Golomb earned a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and practiced as a registered pharmacist in Pennsylvania and Florida prior to attending medical school.

Dr. Golomb is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of MOHS Surgery and American Society of Dermatopathology.  She is a member of the American Medical Association and Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.  She served as Secretary/Treasurer and Past President of Miami-Dade Dermatologic Society.  She served as a voluntary associate professor in the department of dermatology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine for more than 12 years.

During her medical career, she has been involved in research studies and presented her findings at scientific meetings in the United States and Europe.  Dr. Golomb traveled to Central America to work closely with an indigenous population of the San Blas Islands who suffered from skin disorders.

Dr. Golomb has been an investigator in clinical trials for many medical devices and biologic products, including a skin substitute to enhance wound healing, aminolevulonic acid and photodynamic therapy for treating actinic keratosis.  She served as a sub-investigator on clinical trials for Restylane® and Dysport® prior to FDA approval in the United States.
